A Piece of History
Les Amies Dance Club’s 90th anniversary celebration included the writing of the book Dancing through the Decades: The History of Les Amies Dance Club 1922 – 2012 and our Centennial celebration included the writing of the second edition Dancing Through The Decades, Second Edition: The History of Les Amies Dance Club 1922 – 2022.
These books are delightful accounts of our Club’s history. They recount stories from both past and present members that make up the fabric of Les Amies’ history and include many pictures of the wonderful dance events the Club has held through the years.
If you are curious, the couple pictured on the cover of the first edition are the Honourable J. Percy Page and his wife Maude, founding members of Les Amies Dance Club.
